Josefina Braña-Varela, WWF Forest and Climate’s Senior Director, participated in Colorado State University’s “Seminario sobre Liderazgo de Mujeres en la Conservación,” in Washington, DC. This Spanish-language seminar culminated in a workshop in Washington with mid-career professional women working in conservation, where Josefina spoke from her experience at WWF and her previous role as a UNFCCC negotiator for the Mexican government delegation. An English version of the course is expected in 2020.
